Do I have to pay to sign up or use MeetOnWeb.net?
You can sign up and create your profile for free.
Then you can choose to pay the yearly subscription fee of 6,00 € (just 50 cents / month!) to continue to use all our services (view other users' profiles, write private messages to other users, read the private messages you will receive, use the Forum, the Chat, edit and update your profile, add pictures and all other MeetOnWeb.net services).

Why isn't MeetOnWeb.net a free website?
Our Staff decided to turn MeetOnWeb into an association. Paying a subscription fee we can use that money to pay online and offline ads which means that you will have many more profiles to browse to find new friends.
Paying a subscription fee it's easier to find users who are really interested in finding new friends or a new love keeping spammers far from here.

How can I pay?
At the moment we accept only payments using PayPal which supports the most common credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and VisaElectron.
PayPal is a safe online payment system known all over the world.
Payments are made on safe servers, our Staff will never know your personal data or your credit card data.
You don't have to be already a PayPal user, but if you are a PayPal registered uer you can use your PayPal e-mail and password to make the payment.
Anyway, subscribe to PayPal is completely free!
For your privacy the payment will appear on your credit card as "PAYPAL * MOW".

I haven't got a credit card. How can I pay?
In the future we will probably accept other payments methods, but not at the moment.
Anyway PayPal accepts Visa Electron credit cards. If in your country there are rechargeable Visa Electron credit cards which you can obtain even if you haven't got a bank account, then you can use them with PayPal.

Does my subscription renew automatically?
NO! Our Staff wants the our users are completely free. If your subscription has expired you will be able to renew it only if you want to renew it and NOT automatically.

Why do I have to activate my account/profile?
It's necessary to check that you used a valid e-mail address when you signed up.

What happens if I don't complete my profile activation?
Profiles not activated for more then 14 days will be automatically deleted.

What does it mean if my profile is blocked?
Our Staff can block a profile if it doesn't follow the simple rules of MeetOnWeb. You can find all the rules in this page reading the Faq. When your profile is blocked, other users can't see it. Our Staff will tell you why your profile has been blocked by e-mail and you will be able to see the same message in the confirmation page when you login. You will be able to un-block your profile by editing your profile with the changes required.

What happens if I don't update my blocked profile?
If you don't update your profile within 14 days, your account, all your data and your profile will be deleted.

Can I put my e-mail address or phone number in the fields "Something about me" and "I'm looking for"?
No! For security and privacy reasons it's not possible to add this kind of data. Anyway you'll be able to give them to other users by private message.
We remind you that it's not easy to know what are other people's intentions.
We suggest you to give your personal data very carefully at your own risk.

What kind of photos can I add to my profile?
You can add any photos showing yourself.
Photos showing you with other people, landscapes or just other people will be deleted. You can add photos to show yourself to other users, not to use a sort of avatar for your profile.
We respect your privacy: we remind you that you can hide your face.

What are the images in my profile?
You can find two default images in your profile as shown below:

This image will be shown in your profile if you didn't add any photo.

This image will be shown when a photo you uploaded in your profile is for "adults only".
To respect people under 18 years old and all other people, user who didn't login first will not be able to see the image.
If a registered user is already logged in, he will see the image on the left anyway, but he will be able to click on it and see the photo as you uploaded it uncensored.

How can I write to other users?
At the top and at the end of a user's profile page there are some buttons for different options. One of them will allow you to send a private message. Click on the button and you will be taken to the "Send message" page. Just type subject and text of the message, push the "Submit" button and the message will be sent immediately.

How can I add an user to my friends list?
Just like for private messages, at the top and at the end of the user's profile page there's the button for this option. Just click on it and wait for confirmation page. From that moment on you will be able to find the user in your friends list.

How can I add an user to my banned users list?
Just like for private messages and friends, at the top and at the end of the user's profile page there's the button for this option. Just click on it and wait for confirmation page. From that moment on you will be able to find the user in your banned users list. Users in this list will not be able to send you any other private messages.

How can I delete users from my friends or banned users lists?
From friends and banned users lists (you can find a link to these pages on the menu on the left once you log in), you will be able to select one or more users and they will be removed from the list by clicking on the confirmation button at the end of the page.

Can I add users to my friends list and banned users list at the same time?
No: you can add each user to just one of the lists.
To add users who are already in your friends list to your banned users list, you have to remove them from your friends list first. For the same reason, to add users who are already in your banned users list to your friends list, you have to remove them from your banned users list first.
